Thirty years, work hard and open up new chapters.On the afternoon of December 11, 2022, the 30th anniversary activity of Guangbo Group, "walk Guangbo and look forward to the future", was successfully held in Ningbo Nanyuan Hotel, where the guests gathered and the atmosphere was festive.

Chai Zhifang, an academician of the CAS member and a researcher of Ningbo Institute of Materials, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ding Wenjiang, an academician of the CAE member and an expert in light alloy research, and Dong Shaoming, an academician of the CAE member and a researcher of Shanghai Institute of Silicate, Chinese Academy of Sciences, were invited to the event.Zhao Jiasheng, president of Silicon Industry Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Fei Xiaochen, secretary of the Party Leadership Group and director of Ningbo Science and Technology Bureau, Xu Qiang, secretary of Haishu District Party Committee of Ningbo, and other representatives attended the event. Relevant industry associations, colleges and universities, financial institutions, media, company leaders and employee representatives witnessed the growth of Guangbo for 30 years and jointly drew a new blueprint for its future development.

This activity was divided into two parts: the founding conference and the new material forum. The founding conference was presided over by Wang Junping, deputy secretary of the Party committee and general manager of the Group.

 First of all, Wang Liping, secretary of the Party committee and chairman of the Group company, delivered a keynote speech.Chairman Wang Liping expressed his heartfelt thanks to the leaders at all levels and friends from all walks of life who have always been concerned about and supported the high-quality development of the company, and cordial greetings to the new and old workers who have made positive contributions to the development of the company with great dedication for 30 years.By telling the story of 30 years of entrepreneurship, Chairman Wang led everyone to review the three important stages of Guangbo Group's "living", "standing up" and "running out".He said that generations of Guangbo people have promoted the development of the industry through their own exploration and practice.Each stage is characterized by Guangbo’s development and fruitful results.

For the future, Chairman Wang said that based on the low-carbon concept of sustainable development, Guangbo will continue to adhere to the dual wheel drive of industrial manufacturing and new energy materials research and development, promote the partnership and equity incentive model, build a digital and intelligent production system, adhere to the "three hundred" project goal, and go all out to explore overseas emerging markets.As a communicator in the cultural industry and a pioneer in the new material industry, Guangbo will strive to achieve a win-win situation with shareholders, employees, consumers and partners, and make high-quality development a solid foundation for promoting common prosperity of enterprises.

After the founding conference, the activity entered the second link, and the 2022 New Generation Lithium Ion Battery Negative Electrode (Nano Silicon) Material Development Forum officially began.

Focusing on the latest industrial progress and scientific research achievements in the fields of nano silicon, silicon carbon cathode materials, new batteries and other fields, Huang Hao, vice president of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Dalian University of Technology, Ma Hua, president of Jiewei Research Institute, Liang Kun, researcher of Ningbo Institute of Materials, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Song Caigen, director of the silicon powder project of Boqian New Materials Research Institute, respectively made theme reports related to cathode materials (nano silicon).

The company has always attached great importance to the deep integration of industry, university and research, and thus formed an innovation system that constantly accumulates scientific research achievements. The signing ceremony of the cooperation between Guangbo New Materials and Dalian Institute of Technology was held under the witness of the on-site guests.

Later, Chai Zhifang, an academician of the CAS member, gave his best wishes to Guangbo Group on the spot and raised ardent expectations for Guangbo new materials.

With the popularity of global new energy vehicles, the demand side of batteries and key core materials is growing explosively.The key to unlocking the deep integration of new materials and advanced manufacturing technology is to promote the continuous progress of new energy battery material system, technology, process and equipment, and realize the coordinated development of scientific research, academia and industry.Ding Wenjiang and Dong Shaoming, academicians of the CAE member, respectively shared special topics on relevant fields.

Jian Xigao, an academician of the CAE Member, congratulated Guangbo Group on its 30th anniversary by video. At the same time, Academician Jian said that he and his team are willing to conduct in-depth exchanges and innovative exploration with Guangbo New Materials in the field of new energy materials.

Innovation lights up dreams, and technology leads the future. In order to encourage more and more outstanding young scientific researchers to enter the field of new materials and realize the sustainable development of "market demand - technological innovation - achievement application", the company specially established the New Materials Youth Innovation Center, and Fang Wei, secretary of the Party Group of Ningbo Association for Science and Technology, awarded the license for the innovation center.

 The forum was hosted by Dr. Huang Qing and Deputy Director Yang Su of Ningbo Institute of Materials, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
